Frutarom to Invest $30 US Million in New R&D Center and Manufacturing Facility for Natural Taste and Health Products in Israel to Support Growth

New plant to bring expansion of Frutarom's global R&D and production in the strategic fast growing field of natural products

Frutarom Industries Ltd., (LSE: FRUT, TASE: FRUT) one of the world's largest companies in Flavors and Fine Ingredients, is expanding its operations and building a center for R&D and innovation and a manufacturing plant for taste and health natural products in Israel, with an overall investment of approximately US$30 M.

The Company today reported that it has received approval from the Israeli Ministry of Industry and Trade's Investment Center, obtaining the status of an Approved Enterprise for the new plant, which will expand Frutarom's scope of R&D and production in Israel and throughout the world. The new plant will be awarded an investment grant and tax benefits under the Israeli Encouragement of Investments Law. The investment grant will be at a rate of at least 20% of Frutarom's investments in fixed assets. The plant will be located on a 16 acres site.
