Alavi will lead Function's marketing organization as the company brings a new model of health to millions more people, one where everyone can understand their biology, see how it changes over time, and take action on-time.

Alavi has built her career helping people adopt new technology as it reshaped major consumer categories. At Instagram, she led global brand marketing and launched Stories as the platform grew from 300 million to 1 billion users. She went on to lead global brand and creative at Uber. At Spotify, she served as Global Head of Marketing, leading growth, product, and marketing for a $13 billion business spanning music, podcasts, and audiobooks. At each company, she helped take something new and make it essential, building brands that hundreds of millions of people rely on and love. Most recently, she brought that experience to health, consulting at Neko Health.
