Fusionfarm Wins Regional Emmy® for Alliant Video

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, Oct. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Marketing agency Fusionfarm has won its second Regional Emmy® Award for "Your Energy. Your Options," an animated video created for Alliant Energy.

The video, a "paper craft" aesthetic that expresses how to find rebate dollars in your home, won in the category of "Community/Public Service (PSA) – Single Spot."  

"We wanted to position Alliant as an energy partner rather than a 'big, ole mean energy company' by expressing how to find rebate dollars in your home," said Creative Director Michael Zydzik. "We wanted to express the message in an interesting, charming and 'sticky' way. The 'paper craft' aesthetic was the avenue that we drove down."

Zydzik said the approach to Alliant's project was one that Fusionfarm applies to all its work: How can we transform the message, the brand in a way that engages audiences, appeals to human needs and elicits trust?

The 2017 Upper Midwest Regional Emmy Awards were announced Oct. 7 at a special gala in Bloomington, MN. This is Fusionfarm's second Regional Emmy® Award in a row. Last year it won for "Kids Eat Free Sunday"  a social media video produced for the Kernels baseball team.
