MEMPHIS, Tenn., March 20, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Fussbudget.com gets its uncommon moniker from its owner's maiden name, "Fuss." It is an online boutique that sources unique, high-end gifts, home accents and art with more than 7,000 exquisite products. Owner, Jennifer Dunavant, states "Many of the artisans and vendors found on Fussbudget are women business owners who mirror the entrepreneurial spirit we promote at Fussbudget. It's the passion and pride they embrace in their inimitable products that drew me to partnering with them."
Many of the items carried on Fussbudget are handcrafted by small businesses and artisans/craftsmen who have been featured nationally in the media (Oprah's Favorite Things, Garden & Gun, Southern Home, the Today Show, ABC News, Fox News Southern Living, Architectural Digest, House Beautiful and more).
Fussbudget offers original artworks by emerging as well as established artists. Jennifer says, "Our best sellers are handcrafted "Women We Love" Pillows (think Dolly Parton, Maya Angelou and Ruth Bader Ginsburg to name a few), beautiful copper serving pieces with their signature enamel horn handles (designed and created by the phenomenal artist Ben Caldwell), commissioned "Stacked" paintings by artist Stephanie King and amazingly realistic children's duvet covers (optical illusion duvets featured in the movie, Wonder)."
Fussbudget offers the exquisite Ever Alice and Tilton Street jewelry collections. Other popular items are balance bikes imported from France, chic, yet durable dog beds and luxurious bamboo sheets and blankets. The newest items are memorable and personalized gifts for the graduate.
Jennifer credits, "having lived through loss and heartbreak, one realizes each day is a gift. I believe, you should feel true passion for what you do. This has inspired me to cultivate a brand that promotes entrepreneurs, people like myself who want to foster beauty. While I may not be artistically gifted, I have an eye for talent and real craftsmanship; Fussbudget is a curated collection of all things uniquely striking."

A brief history of Fussbudget
Jennifer originally created Fussbudget.com in her garage in 1998 as a basket purse company. She had the fondest memories of playing with her mother's purse as a child. She commissioned incredibly talented artists who would paint her customer's home & family on a purse (with a penny glued inside for luck).
"When my oldest daughter went to her first sleep-away camp, I was talking with other parents and got the idea of offering camp care packages. So, Fussbudget quickly expanded to become a camp care package company. I realized loved ones receive much joy sending 'happies' to their campers," Jennifer recalls.
Jennifer's family assembled hundreds of packages, much to the delight of campers across the country. Though fun, it was hard work, too. Her late husband, Tom, was her number one stocker. She reminisces, "Our family spent hours in the garage-turned-warehouse stocking orders; Tom would join in after having worked a full day at the office."
When Jennifer experienced the phenomenon of going to market, Fussbudget 3.0 was born. Their best sellers became their gorgeous indoor sleeping bags. At the same time, though, Jennifer's husband was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Jennifer says, "Tom and our three young girls were my only focus. Our world shifted dramatically and became all about the quality of life; forever changing my perspective on what is truly meaningful." While Jennifer did not shutter Fussbudget completely, she allowed it to go dormant.
This year, after a 10-year hiatus and feeling reenergized, Jennifer was invigorated with a renewed entrepreneurial spirit and decided to relaunch Fussbudget.com. Like Ponce de Leon she went to market in search of the most amazing lines—you'll find almost all of them in her own home (much to her new husband's chagrin), with new lines being added weekly.
