Futures Recovery Healthcare Hires Kim Koslow, LMHC, MCAP, CTT, BCPC in Unique Position as Clinical Outreach Professional
TEQUESTA, Fla., March 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Futures of Palm Beach is proud to welcome Kim Koslow, LMHC, MCAP, CTT, BCPC as the newest addition to their staff. Kim is taking on the unique role of Clinical Outreach Professional. In this role Kim will act as a representative the organization focusing on community relations, relationship cultivation and intervention services. Kim is a welcomed addition to the outreach team and Florida presence that has been established by Maureen Sander VP of Business Development and Outreach and Laura Kunz, Outreach Director.
Kim joins Futures of Palm Beach with almost 20 years of experience in the addiction treatment field, most recently as CEO and Founder of Got Real Recovery, which owned Butterfly House, one of the first FARR Certified Recovery Residences for women.
Kim is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Addiction Professional and the 60th Certified Trauma Therapist in the Country. As a Board Certified Professional Counselor Kim has been facilitating interventions for most of her career. In 2005, Kim was trained under Dr. Judith Landau, founder of the Arise Intervention. Specializing in women's issues, trauma, family, motivational intervention, building community and outreach, Kim combines her own personal experiences with her education and training to provide a unique blend of clinical care for individuals and families.
Often described as a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist, Kim's clinical approach is to provide support and pragmatic feedback that helps clients resolve problems and move through long-standing unhealthy life patterns. She incorporates a blend of conventional and alternative approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to develop a course of action most appropriate for each client.
