GAPVelocity AI Launches VELO for VB6 to Modernize Legacy Applications for Azure

AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- GAPVelocity AI, the AI modernization business unit of Growth Acceleration Partners (GAP), today announced VELO for VB6, an agentic AI platform that converts Visual Basic 6 applications into Blazor and C# .NET applications for Microsoft Azure. Delivered today as a managed service, VELO provides beta-ready code at a price agreed before work begins. The product will be available as a self-service application in November.

Built on Microsoft Foundry, VELO uses specialized agents to inventory the application, map its target architecture, convert the code, and validate the result against the original behavior. The process carries forward business rules embedded in decades of VB6 code.
