"At its core Garden & Gun is about telling stories, and the digital edition lets us do that in so many new ways. From video to bonus photos to audio clips, the ability to extend the content in new directions is an editor's dream," said DiBenedetto.
The tablet edition, using the Mag+ platform, brings the pages of the magazine to life and is packed with interactive components such as unpublished photos, music, behind-the-scenes videos, as well as links to items featured in the magazine.
To celebrate the inaugural launch, the June/July digital edition will be available at no cost. Subsequently, digital editions will be priced at $5.99 for a single copy with annual subscriptions available for $14.99. In addition, the catalog of back issues and out-of-print editions (such as the premiere issue), which are in high-demand, will be phased into the digital format over the course of the year.
