Garden & Gun Offers Its Content 'Up Close And Personal' With The Debut Of Its First Digital Edition

CHARLESTON, S.C., May 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- David DiBenedetto, VP and Editor-in-Chief, of Garden & Gun, announced today the debut of the magazine's first digital edition.  The June/July issue, which features a cover package on unique summer escapes, around the South, including an offshore oil rig turned bed & breakfast as well as a 160-acre wildlife refuge with three paddle-in tree houses, will be available starting May 22 through the App Store. (

The tablet edition, using the Mag+ platform, brings the pages of the magazine to life and is packed with interactive components such as unpublished photos, music, behind-the-scenes videos, as well as links to items featured in the magazine.

To celebrate the inaugural launch, the June/July digital edition will be available at no cost. Subsequently, digital editions will be priced at $5.99 for a single copy with annual subscriptions available for $14.99.  In addition, the catalog of back issues and out-of-print editions (such as the premiere issue), which are in high-demand, will be phased into the digital format over the course of the year.
