ST. LOUIS, Nov. 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Gateway Bronco, innovative builder of the first-generation Ford Bronco will be unveiling the most historic Bronco known to exist. The first Bronco was a prototype used by Ford and Carroll Shelby to create the early advertisements and prove the production processes at Ford. Recently acquired by Gateway Bronco, it will be on display at the Nashville International Auto Show, November 3-5th at the Gateway Bronco booth (location D-9) immediately adjacent to Ford Motor Company. Attendees can learn about the historic Bronco during a discussion with Gateway Bronco CEO, Seth Burgett, at 2:00 p.m. Saturday November 4th.

First Bronco owned by Carroll Shelby. Fully documented including $100 check paid to Shelby's ranch for the Bronco in 1977. The Bronco is in original condition.

First Ford Bronco
The Bronco prototype was built at Ford's Michigan pre-production plant and delivered to Carroll Shelby at his Shelby American Los Angeles facility in 1967. While at the facility, Shelby repainted the truck to a red and white color scheme, added a 289 V8, later using the historic vehicle as a work truck on Shelby's Christmas Mountains Land & Cattle Co. ranch in Texas. In 1978, it was sold to the second owner, Vinnie Yakubanski, for $100.

Gateway Bronco acquired the truck from Mr. Yakubanski. This is a unique and historic vehicle, previously owned by automotive royalty.
