GBST Welcomes Seasoned Pro to Head Its Capital Markets UK Team
Ian Jack appointed CEO of GBST Capital Markets UK
LONDON and NEW YORK, Sept. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- GBST, a leading global provider of securities transaction and fund administration software for the financial services industry, today announced that Ian Jack has joined the company as CEO for its Capital Markets business in the UK.
Ian brings 15 years of experience in the financial services industry to the team, with a particular focus in front and back-office financial networks. Most recently he served as Global Head of Infrastructure for the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Working from their New York offices, he oversaw a global team responsible for the company's infrastructure business, which included its global trading network and data centres. Prior to NYSE, Ian held roles at Colt Telecom, Radianz and Logica Ltd.
Based in London, Ian will report to Group CEO Stephen Lake and focus on further growing the company's Capital Markets business into new markets throughout Europe.
