GDF SUEZ Energy Resources Supplies Renewable Energy Certificates for Fifth Consecutive Year to Globalcon Conference & Expo

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., April 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- GDF SUEZ Energy Resources NA announced today that it will supply renewable energy certificates (RECs) to the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) for the 2014 Globalcon Conference & Expo April 9-10 at the Atlantic City New Jersey Convention Center. 

This is the fifth consecutive year the retail electricity supplier will provide the RECs in support of the association's commitment to fostering action for sustainable development. The quantity of certificates, which will be Green-e® Energy Certified, is targeted to match the electricity that will be consumed during the expo. 

A Green-e® Certified REC represents the environmental attributes of electricity generated from wind, solar or other renewable generation facilities that meet certain vintage and production standards. Organizations that use RECs to offset their indirect greenhouse gas emissions support the operation and development of domestic sources of renewable energy.
