Genea Completes Initial Close of Series C Financing

IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Genea, a leading provider of cloud-based software and services for the commercial real estate industry, today announced that it has completed the initial close of its series C preferred stock financing. The funding will be used to support the company's rapid growth.

Concurrently with the initial closing, Genea also announced the repurchase of a significant portion of its founders' shares and the resignation of Keith Voysey as Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Voysey is stepping down in order to continue his involvement with other business interests. He will continue to be a member of Genea's board of directors.
