Geneca Receives "Volunteer of the Year" Award

OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill., April 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Geneca is proud to announce that it received Lumity's Volunteer of the Year award at an annual event in support of Chicago's nonprofit community. This event is attended by hundreds of Chicago's leading technology and business organizations.   

The event focus this year was The Chicago Public School's (CPS) STEM initiative. Geneca was recognized for its work in helping the Lumity team improve its effectiveness in its role as liaison between the CPS and the business community. Additionally, Geneca was acknowledged for the ongoing impact of its skills-based volunteer program, Projects with Purpose.
