Geneia & the Physicians' Alliance Partner to Use Advanced Analytics to Improve the Quality and Cost of Patient Care
HARRISBURG, Pa., March 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Geneia announced today an agreement to establish the company's advanced analytics solution throughout the 22 practices of the Physicians' Alliance, Ltd. (PAL) to enable its physicians and patient care teams to more easily improve the quality and cost of care for its 526,000 patients.

- 10 patients with more than $100,000 in medical costs who had not been seen by their primary care physician in more than 12 months
- One patient currently in the hospital who had 13 prior admissions as well as more than 200 specialty visits and 150 prescriptions
- A list of patients discharged from the hospital in the past 10 days
- Two physician practices with significantly higher prescription costs than its peers along with actionable information to remedy the situation
