Through its education arm The Geneia Institute, Geneia will deliver skills-based population health management programs to IHA's 209 hospital and nearly 50 health system members. The Geneia Institute will also serve as an expert resource for IHA's population health learning and action network initiative and their growing healthcare system physician group, #ILDocsLead.

The Geneia Institute has created a series of engaging courses to help hospitals, health systems, physicians, and their teams gain the skills they need to successfully transition to a value-based, population health management environment, including Motivational Interviewing, Patient Engagement for Effective Disease Management, and the Changing Role of the Medical Assistant in the Delivery of Team-Based Care. To meet the challenging schedules of healthcare providers, the courses are delivered via self-paced e-learning modules, and range from as short as 10 minutes to several hours, and in some cases, multiple sessions.
