CHANDLER, Ariz., Feb. 3, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- As a new retail facility in Arizona opens its doors, Genesis, Genesis Inspiration Foundation, and Genesis of Chandler have come together to donate $30,000 towards youth sports and arts in the community. These contributions will fund impactful programs at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley and Free Arts for Abused Children of Arizona.

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley empowers young people, especially those in need, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible members of the community. At 30 clubs across the Valley, over 16,000 K-12 youth are offered affordable afterschool and summer programs. BGCAZ Athletics, a division of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley, provides youth sports leagues, including soccer, basketball, and flag football, that inspire young people to excel as athletes and grow as individuals. This donation is made through Genesis Gives, a corporate social responsibility initiative from Genesis Motor America, which aims to improve access to youth sports in under-resourced communities.

Free Arts for Abused Children of Arizona transforms children's trauma to resilience through the arts. The research-based program model, Art + Mentors = Resilience, helps participants build the resilience they need to overcome adversity by connecting them with volunteer mentors and arts activities that develop both their skills and sense of self. Free Arts serves an average of 7,561 children and provides more than 139 activities each year. With this donation, Free Arts will be able to offer life-changing arts experiences to more children in need of healing.
