SAVANNAH, Ga., Sept. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Genesis recently announced $65,000 in contributions to five organizations advancing youth sports and science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics (STEAM) education throughout coastal Georgia. In addition to the donations, Genesis hosted a STEAM workshop for students at Ebenezer Middle School, providing hands-on learning experiences designed to inspire the next generation of innovators. The region is home to Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA), Hyundai Motor Group's dedicated electric vehicle manufacturing facility in Bryan County, Georgia.
"Investing in young people today helps build stronger communities tomorrow," said Brandon Ramirez, director, corporate social responsibility, Genesis Motor America. "Through support for youth sports, arts education, and STEAM learning, Genesis is helping students develop skills that can benefit them throughout their lives and future careers."

Supporting Youth Sports and Education in Coastal Georgia
The following organizations received donations from Genesis:
- First Tee Savannah: Since 2023, Genesis has partnered with First Tee Savannah, a youth development organization that introduces young people to the game of golf while teaching valuable life skills and character-building principles, including confidence, perseverance, and resilience.
- Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club: The Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club provides local youth with academic support, enrichment activities, mentoring, and safe spaces to learn and grow. Genesis' contribution will help expand STEAM programs for young people to develop critical thinking skills and confidence needed to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
- Girls on the Run South Georgia: Genesis has supported Girls on the Run South Georgia since 2022. The organization delivers evidence-based programs that combine physical activity with lessons designed to strengthen confidence, foster healthy relationships, and equip participants with important life skills.
- Savannah United: A Genesis partner since 2022, Savannah United provides youth soccer programs through leagues, camps, and tournaments that promote teamwork, leadership, character development, and healthy lifestyles among children throughout the region.
- Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD): Genesis continues its partnership with SCAD, a private, nonprofit university offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs in art and design. The donation will support scholarships and educational opportunities that help students pursue creative careers and develop their artistic talents.
"We are incredibly grateful to Genesis for its continued investment in the girls and communities we serve," said Mary Crawford, CEO, Girls on the Run South Georgia. "As our organization continues to grow, this support allows us to reach more girls with opportunities to build confidence, develop meaningful life skills, and recognize their own potential. This partnership is helping us expand our impact today while investing in the strength and leadership of our communities for years to come."
Inspiring Future Innovators Through STEAM Education
As part of its commitment to STEAM education, Genesis hosted a hands-on workshop for students at Ebenezer Middle School. Developed in partnership with Child Creativity Lab, the program introduced students to emerging transportation technologies, vehicle design, and innovation within the automotive industry. During the workshop, students learned about Genesis products and future mobility concepts, explored how designers and engineers bring new vehicle ideas to life, and applied their creativity by building future mobility concepts using upcycled materials.
Through its ongoing support of youth sports and STEAM education programs, Genesis continues to invest in opportunities that help young people discover their passions, develop critical skills, and build brighter futures.
