Genesys Spine® Announces First Patients Enrolled in The SIros™ Lateral Sacroiliac Joint Fusion Study

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 21, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Genesys Spine announced today the first two patients have been enrolled in the prospective SIros™ Lateral Sacroiliac Fusion Study. Dr. Tyler Ptacek, Rapid City, S. Dak. and Dr. Douglas Beall, Oklahoma City, Okla., were the first physicians in the study to enroll patients. This clinical study will be conducted across four centers in the United States.

The SIros Sacroiliac Joint Fusion System is intended for sacroiliac joint fusion for conditions including degenerative sacroiliitis and sacroiliac joint disruption. The system consists of 3D Printed implants designed to transfix the sacroiliac joint and minimize micromotion to enable bony fusion.
