Genghis Grill, The Mongolian Stir Fry Gifts a Healthier Lifestyle and Free Food to 54 'Khantestants'

DALLAS, Feb. 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Genghis Grill has introduced a new healthy-influenced campaign called Health Kwest, a journey into a healthier lifestyle where 'khantestants' will dedicate themselves for three months by eating Genghis Grill's healthier meal options everyday, for free and have a chance to win $10,000. 'Khantestants' will share their journey online by blogging about their day to day progress, while also utilizing Facebook and Twitter to gain social media popularity. The public will be able to partake on the khantestant's journey at www.gghealthkwest.com, where they will be able to vote for their favorite khantestant. Based on the percentage of weight loss, amount of social activity and most public votes, the winner will receive $10,000 and most importantly a healthier lifestyle.

Genghis Grill has partnered with Medical City Hospital, a nationally accredited hospital based in Dallas, a partner of theirs for four years to bring Genghis Grill fans quarterly heart healthy bowl recipe options. Medical City Hospital has provided each contestant a dietician-recommended diet and exercise plan for the Health Kwest campaign. Medical City will further assist in analyzing monthly test results during the campaign which will be a big part in monitoring the khantestant's progress and help choose a winner. Quest Diagnostics and Medical City Hospital will aid in the tracking of results.
