NEW YORK, Feb. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- GenNx360 Capital Partners (GenNx360), a New York-based private equity firm announced today the promotion of Matthew Guenther, a partner on the Firm's investment team, to the position of Managing Partner effective February 1, 2016, further strengthening the Firm's senior team.

Matt has been a key figure in GenNx360's success since joining the firm in 2007. He has served as a leading partner on several highly successful GenNx360 investments, including Precinmac, Vertex Group Ltd. (Vertex), Salford Group (Salford), Tooling Technology Group (Tooling Tech) and Vintage Parts. Additionally, Matt serves a critical role helping to drive the portfolio's growth strategy. He was a key figure in Salford's three add-on acquisitions: BBI Spreaders, Valmar Airflo, and AerWay; and he led two add-on transactions for Tooling Tech: Majestic Industries and GH Mold, providing both portfolio companies with increased visibility, enhancing their capabilities to serve different end markets, and widening their geographic reach.
Prior to joining GenNx360, Matt was responsible for new investments and portfolio management at Walden Capital Partners LP. Earlier, Matt worked for KPMG Consulting in the strategic/financial planning and analysis department. Matt earned his BA in History from Union College and MBA in Finance and International Business from Columbia Business School.
