George K. Baum & Company Announces Higher Education & Nonprofit Finance Group Manager
DENVER, April 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Investment banking firm George K. Baum & Company ("GKB" or the "Firm") announced today that Executive Vice President Linda Eremita, located in GKB's Pittsburgh, PA, office, will take over as manager of the Firm's Higher Education & Nonprofit Finance Group.
Executive Vice President Lee White, founder and former manager of the Firm's Higher Education & Nonprofit Finance Group, recently stepped down from his management role but will remain as an investment banker at GKB. Mr. White will focus on continuing to foster his long-term client relationships, representing the Firm and mentoring bankers.

Ms. Eremita will join current manager and Senior Vice President Julia Donnelly. Ms. Eremita and Ms. Donnelly lead a team of bankers and analysts that have been involved with more than 400 higher education issues, with a total par value exceeding $12.7 billion, since 2000.

Ms. Eremita's 31-year career is punctuated by her successful tenure as an investment banker and financial advisor, bond rating analyst (Standard & Poor's), college and university trustee, and urban planner. The majority of her career has been devoted to higher education clients where she has led a significant number of financings and is an active financial advisor to many. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from Duquesne University and a Master's Degree from Boston University.
