MUNICH and MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Feb. 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- MobileIron (NASDAQ: MOBL) announced today that the company has been named the leader in the IT security segments Mobile Security and Data Leakage Prevention (DLP), according to Experton Group's Security Vendor Benchmark 2016. MobileIron received the highest scores of any vendor in the report and this recognition is particularly significant because Germany is one of the most security-focused markets in the world.
The Experton Group Benchmark 2016 report reviewed among others mobile security vendors and DLP vendors who have notable market share in Germany. MobileIron earned the highest score for its "strength of competitiveness." MobileIron was also the only Enterprise Mobility Management vendor to be named a leader outranking Industry heavyweights including IBM, SAP, Symantec, and Trend Micro.

In the DLP segment Experton Group points out that these solutions are gaining importance since it becomes increasingly difficult for companies to control data movements and data transfers.
