GES® Grows Audio Visual Team with the Addition of 10 Experienced Team Members

LAS VEGAS, Sept. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- September 10, 2014 – Global Experience Specialists (GES), a leading global event marketing company, announced it has grown its U.S. AV team with the addition of 10 seasoned professionals. GES is excited to welcome Ron Cervantes, Casey Cowan, Jeff Marker, Robert Smith, Robert Stover and Randy Will, located in GES' Irving, TX client care center. Asa Crenshaw, Tracey Morrissey, CMP, and Ryan Murphy located in GES' Chicago client care center, and Shannon Delaney is located in GES' New Orleans client care center.

Cervantes joins GES as director of business development. Prior to joining GES, he had an 18-year career at AVMG where he worked with many major medical associations such as American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Endocrine Society, and Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Cowan joins GES as senior account manager following 19 years at PSAV where he held senior positions and managed AV services for large association accounts.

Marker joined GES earlier this year as vice president of business development. He has 20 years experience in all aspects of audio visual. Prior to joining GES, he was part owner of ETS-AV.  Marker was also vice president at PSAV. He is active in the industry and has been a member of PCMA, MPI and ASAE. 

Smith is an account manager with GES.  A 14-year veteran in audio visual solutions for associations and corporate clients, Smith was with AVMG as a customer solutions manager and most recently worked at Freeman AV. He has experience producing large-scale general sessions and working with nationally known speakers. He has managed events for varying clients from medical meetings to legal professionals. 

Stover joins GES as a senior account manager with seven years of industry experience.  Prior to joining GES' AV team, he was an account manager with AVMG. Stover will continue to work with national clients and vendors to produce exceptional show experiences.

Will, GES senior project manager, comes to the company with a 30-year career in audio visual. Most recently he was with Freeman AV.  He was with AVMG for 20 years, and also worked at Media Event Concepts and AVW Audio Visual. 

Crenshaw is senior project manager bringing more than 25 years of working in corporate theater as well as the trade show industry. Most recently he was a customer solutions manager for AVMG.  He has experience working on projects throughout North America and Europe.

Morrissey, CMP joined GES as senior sales manager. She has more than 20 years of experience in the event marketing services industry. Prior to joining GES, she owned Cignal Strategic Technologies and also held the position of national sales manager with Freeman AV, where she produced events for high-end association and corporate clients.

Murphy joined GES earlier this year as senior sales manager bringing 17 years of experience in the audio visual, hotel, trade and convention business. Prior to joining GES, Murphy was with Freeman AV.  He is active in the meetings community and is a current board member of the PCMA Greater Midwest Chapter.

Delaney is project manager with GES.  She joined the convention industry in 2008, as an exhibitor services representative with Freeman. In 2010 she began her GES career as an operations coordinator with expoServices.
