On Tuesday, May 7^th, celebrity chef Rocco DiSpirito will serve up his special Friendship Apple Pie Smoothie created with 1% Low Fat Friendship Cottage Cheese for the food truck launch.  DiSpirito is passionate about following healthy lifestyle choices and for the past seven years has been on a mission to prove that healthy and delicious are not mutually exclusive. Both Friendship and DiSpirito are dedicated to showcasing the versatility and great taste of this all natural, low calorie cottage cheese and re-introduce people to all of its culinary wonderments.

Throughout the month at sampling venues, Friendship's food truck will offer free 5-ounce Friendship Fit to Go™ 1% Low Fat, 1% Low Fat Pineapple and 4% Regular Cottage Cheese. Enthusiasts can also opt for the featured mix-ins that add an extra twist: Instant Wasabi featuring Crispy Onions and Wasabi Peas for a crunchy snack with a spicy twist or Granola Glee with Granola, Dried Cranberries, Pumpkins Seeds, and Maple Syrup for an amped up snack that challenges the more traditional combination. In addition to canvassing the streets of Manhattan, look for it throughout the tri-state area where it will participate in events like the New York Botanical Garden's Mother's Day Party as well as charity walks, golf tournaments and races such as the Long Island Marathon and New Jersey Liberty Run Marathon, the ShopRite LPGA Classic in New Jersey, and the Susan G.
