Getty Images Renews Contract with Esteemed Entertainment Photographer Kevin Mazur

NEW YORK, July 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Getty Images, a world leader in visual communications, today announced it has renewed its exclusive partnership with veteran entertainment photographer Kevin Mazur. Tapping into his vast network within the entertainment and music industries, Mazur is also assuming the newly-created role of Talent Relations Representative. His long-time editor and deputy, Lauryn Schwartz, is taking on a new role as Manager of Photography Business and Talent Relations.

Mazur has been working with Getty Images exclusively for over a decade as an entertainment photographer. During his time with Getty Images, he has photographed dozens of world-renowned events, including the One Love Manchester concert, the Academy Awards and the Grammy Awards. In his new role as Talent Relations Representative, Mazur and Schwartz will work with Larry Busacca, Getty's Senior Director of North America Entertainment, to manage and build direct strategic relationships with celebrities, studios and music labels to generate new and exclusive content for Getty Images.

Mazur, a pioneer in the entertainment and celebrity photography industry for over 25 years, has taken iconic images of artists ranging from Michael Jackson to Nirvana. In 2001 Mazur co-founded WireImage, one of the first digital photographic press agencies and wire services specializing in delivering professionally licensed photography to media worldwide. The agency quickly found great success and soon opened offices throughout Europe, Asia, and Australia. In 2007 WireImage was sold to Getty Images, and since then Mazur has been providing his unique brand of imagery to Getty Images' customers.
