
Girl Scouts Celebrate 100th Anniversary with Great Girl Gathering at Mall of America®
ST. PAUL, Minn., March 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- On Saturday, March 10 and Sunday, March 11, Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys invite girls, alumnae and families from across the country to join in a 100th birthday celebration at Mall of America® in Bloomington, Minnesota. The Great Girl Gathering is a free, public event featuring activities, entertainment and fun for all ages.
The Great Girl Gathering will commemorate the past with historic displays and alumnae events. Exciting performances and activities in six mall courts will showcase today's Girl Scout programs related to camping, science, engineering, environmental stewardship, healthy living and anti-bullying. Disney stars, China Anne McClain and the McClain Sisters, will perform a free concert on Sunday.
