Pour célébrer l'arrivée en boutique des premières collections dessinées par la directrice artistique Clare Waight Keller pour Givenchy, la maison est heureuse de présenter en avant-première le prêt-à-porter et les accessoires du printemps-été dans une véritable « maison » Givenchy, avenue Montaigne à Paris.

Les collections Givenchy du printemps-été 2018 pour la femme et l'homme feront leurs débuts le 15 février 2018, trois semaines avant leur arrivée dans les boutiques du monde entier le 5 mars.

Dans l'entrée principale, des éléments de portail traditionnel en fer forgé évoquent la maison de couture fondée par Monsieur Givenchy dans les années 1950 au 3 avenue George V à Paris. À l'intérieur, un espace inspiré d'une élégante maison de ville parisienne fait revivre l'atmosphère chic et confortable de la demeure privée de la créatrice.

Les collections de prêt-à-porter et les nouveaux classiques, comme le sac à main GV3, prennent place avec naturel pour former un tableau vivant. Un sac repose sur un fauteuil, une robe se drape sur le dos d'un canapé, et des chaussures sont alignées le long d'un dressing. Des miroirs placés stratégiquement font écho à la campagne publicitaire photographiée par Steven Meisel, rappelant que le passé de Givenchy se reflète dans le présent, qui porte en lui-même l'avenir.

Des moulures traditionnelles ornent les murs peints d'une teinte d'ivoire ; des arrangements végétaux suspendus et des tapis anciens dessinent des petits salons et offrent un contrepoint chaleureux aux sols de marbre gris et gris fumé. Le mobilier évoque l'ambiance intimiste que l'on retrouve dans la campagne Givenchy actuelle : fauteuils à dossier en médaillon associés à des canapés modernes, luminaires vintage des années 1970 en métal et verre, et ensembles élégants de plantes vertes.

Dans cet environnement, architecture, design, luxe, musique, art, culture et individus sont réunis pour célébrer ensemble le début d'une nouvelle ère chez Givenchy. Son contexte est riche de sens : histoire et héritage se tournent vers des beautés variées et un esprit poétique - parfois romantique, parfois rock, composant le vocabulaire mis en place par Clare Waight Keller pour la maison.

Les collections prêt-à-porter Givenchy pour le printemps-été 2018 feront leurs débuts à la boutique Givenchy Montaigne à Paris le 15 février 2018 à 10 heures, heure locale. Le pop-up restera ouvert tout au long de la Fashion Week parisienne (26 février-6 mars).
