Livongo Health™ is initially focusing on diabetes, which currently accounts for over $250 billion of health care costs per year in the U.S. alone. Livongo Health™ will offer an FDA cleared two-way, interactive glucometer, unlimited supplies for monitoring, cloud-based analytics, and real-time monitoring and support.

The company secured initial funding from 7wire Ventures (run by Tullman and long-time partner Lee Shapiro) and a recent $10 million Series A funding round from General Catalyst Partners.
