Glenn S. Goldberg of McGraw-Hill Information & Media Awarded McAllister Top Management Fellowship

AUSTIN, Texas, May 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Glenn S. Goldberg, president of The McGraw-Hill Companies Information & Media Segment, was presented with the 2011-12 McAllister Top Management Fellowship award during American Business Media's Annual Conference in Austin, Texas. The McAllister Top Management Fellowship program, now in its 27th year, is an honor annually awarded to a top management executive at an American Business Media company. The program brings business-to-business (B2B) leaders into the classroom at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. Goldberg, who serves on the Board of Directors of the American Business Media, will visit the school and work with students in the magazine area, as well as with other editorial, IMC and Medill-Kellogg media management students during the upcoming academic school year.

Goldberg leads respected business information brands in energy, construction and aviation and defense industries, as well as J.D. Power & Associates and ABC-affiliated television stations in Denver, San Diego, Indianapolis and Bakersfield. Previously, Goldberg was senior vice president, Corporate Affairs and assistant to the chairman and chief executive officer of McGraw-Hill. Until 1998, he was managing director of Global Ratings Development for Standard & Poor's, also part of McGraw-Hill, where he was responsible for Standard & Poor's global marketing and communications activities and served on its Executive Committee.

Goldberg joins two 2011-12 McAllister Editorial Fellows, Bill McDowell of Marketing & Technology Group, and Jane Kolleeny of McGraw-Hill Construction's GreenSource Magazine, who will also serve at Medill in the coming academic year.
