Global Career Development Firm IMPACT Group Appoints Seasoned Executive, Speaker and Entrepreneur Ed Chaffin as President

ST. LOUIS, June 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- IMPACT Group, a WBE-global career development firm, announced that Ed Chaffin has joined the firm as President, effective immediately.

Chaffin is a seasoned executive, speaker, writer and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in the HR and talent arena. As President, he will oversee sales, account management and practice leaders at IMPACT Group.

Prior to joining IMPACT Group, Chaffin founded the UnCommon Leadership Institute. This group was dedicated to developing the next generation of leaders with executive and leadership coaching from global experts. He also founded The Human Capital Initiative, a consulting and coaching company (purchased in 2012 by The Human Capital Group - a retained executive search and leadership consulting firm). Prior to his many successful entrepreneurial endeavors, Chaffin held multiple executive roles at TALX Corporation, formerly a St. Louis-based HR services company.
