Global Crossing Expands Telepresence Offer with Cisco

FLORHAM PARK, N.J., Feb. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Building on its fully managed video collaboration services portfolio, Global Crossing (Nasdaq: GLBC), a leading global IP solutions provider, today announced it is adding Cisco's (Nasdaq: CSCO) complete line of high-quality and easy-to-use virtual telepresence meeting solutions to its existing telepresence offer.  Global Crossing is providing this telepresence service via its world-class Internet Protocol (IP) network, which is now Cisco-certified for telepresence connectivity.

By working together with Cisco, Global Crossing strengthens its comprehensive portfolio of Global Crossing Collaboration Solutions and adds the choice of the best-selling telepresence solution to its existing telepresence offer.  These innovative collaboration tools, consisting of Global Crossing Ready-Access^® audio, web and video collaboration services and telepresence solutions, enhance decision-making, reduce travel costs, lower carbon footprints and increase productivity for customers worldwide.
