Global Financial Private Capital Surpasses $5 Billion in Assets Under Management
Fidelity Investments Recognizes Global Financial for Steady and Strategic Growth
SARASOTA, Fla., Sept. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Financial Private Capital, an independently owned SEC Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), announced today that it surpassed $5 billion in assets under management (AUM) under custody with the Fidelity Clearing & Custody platform.
"Global Financial has grown at an impressive rate over the past several years," said Tom Valverde, Senior Vice President at Fidelity Clearing & Custody, "We believe this sort of growth demonstrates that Global Financial is highly focused on meeting and exceeding their clients' expectations. Very few firms are able to grow so steadily and strategically."
In reaching this milestone, Global Financial joins an elite group of fewer than 1 percent of firms in the RIA industry, per Cerulli's "RIA Marketplace 2014" report. Global Financial had $1.7 billion in assets under custody with Fidelity at year-end 2012; $2.9 billion at year-end 2013; and $4.4 billion in year-end 2014.
"We are honored to be recognized by Fidelity for reaching this milestone," said Geoff Frazier, President of Global Financial. "As we continue to see uncertainty in the markets, we have experienced a growing demand for the conservative investment strategies that the advisors in our network deliver."
In June of 2015, Global Financial was named to the Financial Times Top 300 Registered Investment Advisers, which recognizes top independent RIA firms across the U.S. Firms were selected based on six criteria: AUM; AUM growth rate; years in existence; advanced industry credentials; online accessibility; and compliance records. The "average" FT 300 firm manages $2.6 billion in assets and saw its total AUM rise by 18% in 2014.
