Global Media Company Getty Images Expands Presence In Nordic Region As Part Of Ambitious Global Growth Strategy

NEW YORK, May 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Getty Images Senior Vice President for Sales Lee Martin today announced the appointments of Tom Tramborg and Bjorn Johansen as the company's Senior Director and Director, respectively, for the Nordic Region, including Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. The appointments are part of Getty Images' plan to enhance its geographic presence as well as its ability to serve customers in the Nordic region and worldwide with a greater choice of innovative and inspiring content.

Mr. Tramborg and Mr. Johansen join Getty Images Commercial Director Annica Saltskog, who is based in Stockholm. The company has a longstanding presence in the Nordic region and will establish new offices in Copenhagen, Oslo and Helsinki.

Mr. Tramborg and Mr. Johansen have worked in the media business – with a particular focus on visual content – in Scandinavia, Russia and the Baltic countries, and have collaborated with Getty Images for several years.

Mr. Tramborg worked at All Over Press Denmark since 1995, and has served as head of All Over Press International since 2011. Previously, he worked for Bulls Press. Mr. Tramborg is from Copenhagen, Denmark, and studied marketing at Copenhagen Business School. He will be based in Copenhagen.

A native of Oslo, Norway, Mr. Johansen also has extensive experience in the media industry, serving most recently as head of sales for All Over Press International. He was previously head of the photo department at the news agency NTB and editor in chief and agency manager of All Over Press Norway. Mr. Johansen will be based in Oslo.
