#International initiative seeks to promote peace, end 58 wars and unite communities through global cooperation

WASHINGTON, Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson will attend the Global Peace & Economic Summit as Chief Guest on Wednesday, Sept. 23, joining Dr. K. A. Paul and leaders and representatives from around the world for an international gathering focused on promoting peace, encouraging global cooperation and addressing ongoing conflicts.

The Global Peace Initiative, led by Dr. K. A. Paul, will host the summit from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Capitol Hilton in Washington, D.C.
