Soles4Souls Asks Public to Go Without Shoes on October 11, 2012

NASHVILLE, Sept. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Every day millions of children walk several miles to school and home barefoot, susceptible to disease and unable to participate in sports and other activities with their friends.  Soles4Souls, a charity committed to providing shoes to people in need, is hoping to empower others to tell the stories of kids around the world who need shoes.  For one day in October, 10.11.12 to be exact, 'barefoot ambassadors' are going to fill the streets of local towns and aisles of local grocery stores with a purpose—to spread awareness of the impact a pair of shoes can have on a child's life, by taking off their own.  

Barefoot4Them has a simple concept—promise your support by signing up on their website and Soles4Souls will send you the story of a boy or girl in a developing nation affected by the need for shoes.  And on October 11^th, you will go barefoot for that child.
