Gogobot Brings Popular Social Travel Service to iPhone with New App

Gogobot transforms how we explore new places and capture and share our travel experiences by allowing users to harness the power of their social networks to exchange trusted travel advice and share trip plans and rich visual travel memories.

The app extends Gogobot's unique social travel experience to iPhone users, allowing them to create and share real-time digital postcards, find nearby restaurants, hotels and attractions, and access personalized trip plans.

Users can rate the places they have been to on the fly, write reviews and share the postcards immediately with friends via Facebook or Twitter. Each postcard is added automatically to a user's Gogobot Guide on Gogobot.com, creating a lasting, magazine-style spread to help users remember and share all of the places they've visited.

The Gogobot App also allows users to access the trip plans that they've created on their Gogobot.com profiles, including maps, reviews and more. Additionally, the ‘Nearby' function lists the best restaurants, hotels and attractions automatically based on a user's location. Similar to Gogobot.com, the app sorts destinations based on your friends' ratings, providing an efficient and curated tool to help you make the most of your travels.
