Gold Canyon Announces Appointment Of Thomas F. Kelly As Chief Executive Officer

CHANDLER, Ariz., June 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Gold Canyon (www.goldcanyon.com), a leading candle and home decor direct sales company, today announces the appointment of Thomas F. Kelly as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Kelly brings more than three decades of direct sales organization leadership to this position and has been tapped for his unique ability to drive revenue growth and profitability while sustaining high levels of motivation through dynamic market and organizational shifts.

Prior to Gold Canyon, Mr. Kelly served as Chief Executive Officer of Silpada Designs, where he was responsible for transforming and upgrading the company's organizational capabilities, as well as being instrumental in successfully transitioning the company back to a privately held, family-run business when Avon Products, Inc. decided to sell it. Mr. Kelly previously built a distinguished 32-year career at Avon Products, Inc. where he rose to Senior Vice President. Throughout his Avon career, Mr. Kelly implemented key teambuilding initiatives, developed and mentored global direct sales leadership and drove organizational productivity.

Currently residing in Leawood, KS, he and his wife are relocating to Chandler, AZ.
