Golf Academy of America Fall Enrollment Open Through September 1

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Aug. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Representatives of Golf Academy of America, the world's largest and longest-running two-year golf college, announced that the school's fall semester enrollment period will remain open through Sept. 1.

Golf Academy's newest students will spend the next 16 months following a curriculum that blends golf knowledge with business education and leaves graduates well-equipped to step into the $76 billion-per-year golf industry.

Golf Academy of America's facilities are located in San Diego, Phoenix, Dallas, Orlando and Myrtle Beach. The Dallas facility, which opened in January 2012, has seen enrollment increase to over 100 students with classes set to begin on Aug. 29.

Students at Golf Academy of America take a complete slate of business courses—accounting, marketing, business law and others—combined with golf-specific classes on such topics as club fitting, golf course design and the history of golf.
