Golf Galaxy Announces Grand Opening Celebration For New Store in Cary, NC
PGA Tour Professional Lucas Glover to Make Special Appearance
PITTSBURGH, Sept. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Golf Galaxy, a full-line, specialty golf retailer, announces its plans to open its store in Cary, NC. The grand opening celebration is slated for September 19th thru the 21st at Parkside Town Commons (1030 Parkside Main Street). New store hours will be Monday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday 10:00a.m. to 6p.m.

The store will provide golfers of all ages and abilities exactly what they need to enjoy the game of golf," said Tom Hassett, Vice President of Marketing, Golf Galaxy. Throughout Grand Opening weekend, Golf Galaxy will host a variety of giveaways, competitions and activities. Along with the daily events, there will be an appearance by PGA Tour player Lucas Glover on Saturday September 20th from 2:30-4:30 p.m. **
Customers will have access to the store's two PGA professionals, certified fitting experts, tour-quality club service technicians and an experienced sales team. The store features three state-of-the-art manufacturers' fitting centers, a full service club tech workshop, one indoor demo range, more than 1,200 square feet of putting green, a dedicated women's section and a world-class apparel shop.
Measuring over 35,000 square feet in size, the new Cary store serves up the ultimate display in golf equipment, accessories, apparel and footwear from a wide set of brands, including Callaway, Cleveland, Cobra, PING, TaylorMade, Titleist and Nike among others.
**Beginning at 10:00 a.m. local time, 250 wristbands will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of event only. Limit one wristband and one autograph per person. Fans must have a wristband and must be in the Special Appearance line by 2:30 p.m. to receive an autograph. See store for details.
