Additionally, company named Guy Havusha as CISO as Gong accelerates its next wave of Revenue AI innovation
SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Gong, the leader in revenue AI, today announced the appointment of Liron Shtraichman as Chief R&D (research & development) Officer and Guy Havusha as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
These leadership moves come during a period of continued growth and innovation at Gong, as the company helps revenue teams move from insight to action to results, at scale, with Revenue AI. Shtraichman's experience scaling a global engineering organization and Havusha's experience leading global security organizations, both previously at monday.com, will be critical as Gong continues to drive innovation and Revenue AI outcomes for over 5000 global customers.
"Enterprises are rebuilding their revenue stacks around AI, and Gong Revenue AI is at the center of that shift. The next phase is about agents that don't just surface insights, but take action and deliver results at enterprise scale," said Amit Bendov, CEO and co-founder of Gong. "Liron has scaled a global engineering organization and led a full transition to AI-native development. And with Guy leading security, our customers can put AI agents to work knowing their data is protected to the highest enterprise standards. That's exactly the experience to keep transforming how revenue teams win."
Shtraichman previously led the global engineering organization at monday.com across its platform and product teams through a period of rapid growth, most recently driving the company's transformation to AI-native engineering. This experience will be invaluable at Gong, where he will lead R&D and be focused on expanding the agentic capabilities Gong delivers to leading revenue teams across its Revenue Graph, Revenue Harness, Revenue Operating Surfaces and more.
"Gong is at a rare moment: unmatched insight into how revenue teams win, a platform already putting agents to work for thousands of customers, and leading a major technology transition," said Shtraichman. "The people I met throughout the process made the decision easy. I'm looking forward to learning from our customers and the team that built Gong, and to pushing our leading agentic innovation even further."
Previously serving as Vice President of Platform Security at Gong, Havusha now takes the reins as CISO, a role he is familiar with, having also previously served as Global CISO at monday.com. As CISO, Havusha leads Gong's global security, privacy, and compliance programs, ensuring that the customer data powering Gong's AI and the agents acting on it meet the highest enterprise standards. As AI agents take on more work across the revenue cycle, Havusha will be responsible for ensuring that data security and governance serve as strategic differentiators and value propositions for our customers.
The leadership additions follow a year of recognition and major agentic innovation at Gong. Just last week, Gong was named a Leader in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Revenue Action Orchestration for the second year in a row.
In June, the company introduced the Gong Revenue Harness, an execution and governance layer that lets revenue teams build and deploy Custom Agents with scoped data access, full audit trails, and configurable human oversight. Last month at Celebrate '26, Gong unveiled Gong Activate, the next generation of Revenue AI, which enables AI agents and reps to execute the motions that win, retain, and grow accounts from a single shared blueprint.
