
Good Food Holdings Announces Leadership Transition
CEO Neil Stern Retires; President & COO Adam Caldecott Appointed Chief Executive Officer
CARSON, Calif., Oct. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Good Food Holdings (GFH), a portfolio of five premium and natural food retail brands across California and the Pacific Northwest, today announced that CEO Neil Stern will retire from his role and that President and Chief Operating Officer Adam Caldecott has been appointed Chief Executive Officer & President, effective October 5.
Caldecott succeeds Stern following more than six years of leadership at Good Food Holdings. In addition to serving as President and COO, Caldecott has held CEO leadership roles across multiple Good Food Holdings banners and brings decades of experience in grocery retail.
Under Stern's leadership, Good Food Holdings strengthened and expanded its portfolio while continuing to invest in its people, capabilities, and communities. Today, the company supports more than 7,500 employees across 57 West Coast locations representing Bristol Farms, Lazy Acres Natural Market, New Leaf Community Markets, Metropolitan Market, and New Seasons Market.
