Good for Enterprise iPhone App Now Supports IBM Lotus Domino and Notes

ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Lotusphere -- Good Technology™ today announced that its Good for Enterprise™ iPhone application, available from the App Store, now supports IBM® Lotus® Domino® and Notes®.  With Good for Enterprise, Good provides iPhone® users an exceptional, enterprise-class messaging and collaboration experience with all the security, visibility, and control that IT requires. The application supports iPod touch® users as well.

Businesses of all sizes are seeing rapidly increasing demand for secure and managed access corporate networks and applications from the newest iPhone and Android™ devices. Since first announcing iPhone and Android support in December, over 700 enterprises have deployed Good for Enterprise on the most-demanded new devices including iPhone, iPod touch, and multiple Android devices, such as Google Nexus One™, DROID by Motorola, and HTC Hero.

Good for Enterprise offers enterprise-class messaging and collaboration for IBM Louts Domino and Notes users. Good's iPhone application provides the highest levels of security and management including remote wipe capabilities, on-device data encryption, and the ability to manage all devices from a single, web-based management console. These features not only alleviate the burden on the IT manager, they also provide more control and security, in case the user's iPhone is lost or stolen.

The Good for Enterprise user experience is customized to be as intuitive and familiar as the desktop, minimizing IT intervention and reducing support costs. The Good application prioritizes tasks most important to the business user, such as composing email, managing meetings, or viewing rich attachments and makes them easily and seamlessly accessible. In addition to IBM Lotus Notes and Domino R7 and R8, Good for Enterprise supports multiple Exchange versions Exchange 2003 and 2007. Pricing and Availability

Customers can download the Good for Enterprise -- iPhone application in one of the three following ways:

  • From the iPhone, launch the Safari browser and go to "get.good.com"  This will automatically redirect you to the Good application in the App Store
  • From the iPhone, launch the App Store and search for "Good for Enterprise" or "Good Technology"
  • From a desktop browser, click the following link which will launch iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/good-for-enterprise/id333202351?mt=8

Lotus Domino customers should upgrade their Good servers to the latest version: Good Mobile Messaging 6.0.3 and Good Mobile Control 1.0.3.  Server software and documentation is available on www.good.com/downloads.  Select the Download for Lotus Domino tab.

Use of Good for Enterprise App requires a Good for Enterprise server and client access license (CAL). Customers should contact their IT administrator for a username and password. The Good for Enterprise application will not operate without the necessary back-end software.
