Gooding & Company Debuts in Amelia Island With a World Record-Breaking $16.1 Million Performance

AMELIA ISLAND, Fla., March 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Gooding & Company, the internationally-recognized auction house, garnered more than $16.1 Million* in sales, with a total of 58 out of 71 lots sold (an average sales price of $278,300 per car), at its inaugural Amelia Island Auction on Friday, March 12, 2010 at the Amelia Island Plantation.  The auction's top-seller was the star 1931 Voisin Mylord Demi-Berline that sold for $2.75 Million, an outstanding sale and world record for the Best of Show 2009 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance winner.
