Up to 45% of Americans struggle with paying for their prescription medicines, 26% don't fill prescriptions because they can't afford them, and medication nonadherence costs the U.S. healthcare system up to $289 billion a year.

To stay safe, ASOP Global urges all consumers to verify their online pharmacy before they buy, or look for .pharmacy in the URL, (i.e., www.GoodRx.pharmacy), since all websites ending in .pharmacy are verified by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP).
