Goodwill® Partners With Christopher & Banks for Nationwide Charitable Event
National retailer will provide discounts to customers that make donations to the nonprofit
ROCKVILLE, Md., Aug. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Goodwill, the United States' leading workforce development nonprofit and Christopher & Banks, a national specialty retail company who provides an assortment of expressive styles for women of all sizes, have partnered for the Goodwill Giving Event, encouraging individuals to donate to their local Goodwill store in exchange for coupons valid at Christopher & Banks stores. Christopher & Banks provides its customers with relevant style and exceptional service, and deeply believes in shopping for a cause.
Beginning Thursday, August 30, 2018, donors at 37 participating Goodwill community-based organizations will earn coupons worth $10 valid on their purchase at any one of the 101 participating Christopher & Banks retail stores or via online at www.christopherandbanks.com. Goodwill organizations exist independently and operate the stores and donation centers in their territories. Each Goodwill organization uses the revenue from the sale of goods to provide career service opportunities for people in their communities.

More than 87 percent of the collective revenue from the sale of goods in Goodwill stores is used to create employment placement, job training and educational opportunities for people. When consumers donate used items, they help people in their community gain the work skills they need to get ahead and care for their families.
