Google Analytics Leads Tech Month Workshops at Enterprise Center
Business owners get latest tech trends in popular workshop series
SALEM, Mass., Feb. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The room will be packed with business owners and entrepreneurs on March 3rd, when the Enterprise Center kicks off "tech month" with How to Use Google Analytics to Increase Your Bottom Line. It's the first of four workshops on some of the tech trends that are revolutionizing how businesses market themselves and monitor their progress.
This initial session will be presented by Rafael Barbosa, Marketing Manager of FiRE+iCE Restaurants, and will show attendees how they can use the marketing information captured by Google Analytics, a free tool available to any website owner, to make their site more effective. It will be followed during the month by workshops that range from online marketing fundamentals to more sophisticated tactics. The line-up of workshops and speakers includes the following:
- Web and Internet Marketing Basics, Carol Sanger of The Web Division, Tuesday, March 8th, sponsored by the Small Business Development Center
- Mobile Marketing, Mark Reeves, Clearbold Online Marketing & Website Development, Thursday, March 17th
- Using YouTube and Video to Promote Your Company, Owen Mack, Founder coBRANDIT, Tuesday March 22nd
Now in its seventh year, "tech month" has become a highly anticipated series that inevitably sells out quickly. "This doesn't surprise me," said Enterprise Center CEO Christine Sullivan. "Given the speed with which technology changes, it's hard it to stay current. And despite how powerful and cost effective these new applications can be for small businesses and non-profits, there are incredibly few opportunities to learn about them or how to leverage them for greater success. Enterprise Center workshops make it feasible and affordable to do that."
All workshops, which are sponsored or co-sponsored by the Small Business Development Center, will be held at the Enterprise Center. Full details and registration information are available at www.EnterpriseCtr.org. Early registration is encouraged. Previous technology-oriented workshops can be viewed online as well.
