Three-time Emmy Award-winning producer A. Curtis Farrow directs star-studded holiday concert at historic First A.M.E. Zion Church
BROOKLYN, N.Y., Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Grammy-nominated gospel artists Kim Burrell and Byron Cage will headline a Christmas concert featuring a 300-voice choir and an all-star lineup of gospel performers at First A.M.E. Zion Church in Brooklyn on Friday, December 11, at 7 p.m. Presented by Peace Starts With Me, a project of Family Federation for World Peace and Unification USA, the free concert will celebrate the Christmas season through music, faith and community giving.
The evening will feature acclaimed gospel artists Joann Rosario, Rich Tolbert Jr., and Brooklyn's own Anaysha Figueroa Cooper and Timiney Figueroa.
The 300-voice Christmas choir will be directed and produced by three-time Emmy Award winner A. Curtis Farrow, internationally renowned for producing McDonald's Gospelfest. Farrow has assembled gospel choirs of up to 5,000 voices and produced memorial services for music legends Whitney Houston and Aretha Franklin.
Burrell, celebrated for her extraordinary vocal range and jazz-infused gospel style, has collaborated with Pharrell Williams, Frank Ocean and Missy Elliott. A Grammy nominee and Stellar Award honoree, she is recognized for her influence across gospel and contemporary music.
Joining her is Byron Cage, known as the "Prince of Praise," whose electrifying performances and hits including "The Presence of the Lord Is Here" have made him a leading voice in contemporary gospel.
The lineup also features Joann Rosario, known for her bilingual worship music, and Bronx native Rich Tolbert Jr., whose breakout hit "Never Be Defeated" topped Billboard's Gospel Digital Songs chart.
Beyond the performances, the concert will honor seven community service organizations from New York City and New Jersey, each receiving a $2,500 donation in recognition of their contributions to their communities.
