GovSignals Demonstrates Prototype Technology to Evaluate Centralized Industry Engagement Under Navy-Authorized Pilot

Prototype pilot "Project Roundtable" is designed to show how cutting-edge commercial technology can connect defense industrial base capabilities to Navy program offices.

WASHINGTON, Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- GovSignals today announced the launch of its prototype demonstration platform for Project Roundtable, a pilot authorized by the Department of the Navy (DON) to evaluate centralized industry engagement.

Operating under an innovative rapid acquisition process, this pilot is designed to demonstrate the potential for cutting-edge commercial technology to transform how the DON engages with industry. The effort directly supports the execution of the DoW Acquisition Transformation Strategy, assisting DON Portfolio Acquisition Executives (PAEs) while enhancing the Industry Experience for current and potential future vendors.

From Disruptor Days, conferences, consortia memberships, RDT&E demonstrations, and direct program office engagement, the Navy currently interacts with the industrial base across multiple avenues. Project Roundtable will evaluate whether these decentralized engagements can be connected into a cohesive, prototype body of knowledge across participating DON organizations, ensuring that mission-critical commercial capabilities are surfaced rapidly to the Sailors and Marines who need them. GovSignals is executing this pilot under a Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) to evaluate how agile commercial software can support the Department's modernization goals.

What the Pilot Will Demonstrate

How the pilot works:

• A public, non-CAC intake allowing vendors to submit and update their capability information while preserving vendor intellectual property rights.
• An internal collaboration ledger that aggregates each engagement into a running record for every participating organization.
• Capability and TRL mapped and surfaced to participating Navy points of contact.

Project Roundtable runs a flywheel: industry submits once, participating Navy stakeholders see capability as it matures, and demand signal flows back to industry early. Government stakeholders get a comprehensive view of what industry can deliver, when, and at what scale.
