SILVER LAKE, Mich., Oct. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Grace Adventures Ministries, a leader equipping students and strengthening families since 1946, announces the retirement of its longtime President, Steve Prudhomme, effective March 31, 2026. After nearly three decades of faithful service, Steve will leave behind a rich legacy of impact, discipleship, and transformed lives.
Following a comprehensive and prayerful succession process, the Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Ben Vander Kodde, currently serving as Vice President of Advancement, has been unanimously appointed as the next President of Grace Adventures Ministries. This internal transition reflects the organization's commitment to mission continuity.
"For 29 years, Steve has been the visionary behind Grace Adventures Ministries. His passion for Christ-centered leadership, family-based programming, and unwavering commitment to the Gospel has shaped generations," said Dan VanTimmeren, Chair of the Board of Directors. "We honor his legacy and rejoice in God's continued provision through Ben, a trusted and proven leader within our ministry."
Under Prudhomme's leadership, Grace expanded from a few weeks of summer camp a year into a multi-site ministry encompassing youth camps, family experiences, leadership development, and year-round training for churches and organizations across the Midwest and beyond.
Vander Kodde, who has served at Grace Adventures Ministries for 25 years in various roles, brings a deep understanding of the ministry's culture and vision. Chad Coppess, Vice President of Program, and Doug Fouser, Vice President of Operations, also bring passion and expertise to the organization. Together this leadership team will ensure that the mission of impacting people with Jesus Christ continues to flourish.
"I am humbled and excited to step into this role," said Vander Kodde. "Grace Adventures Ministries has shaped my faith and leadership, and I am committed to honoring the foundation that has been laid while following God's leading into the future."
A formal celebration honoring Steve Prudhomme will be held on November 9, 2025 on the Grace Adventures Campus.
