Grace Nida Joins Korn/Ferry International as Managing Director, Global Luxury Sector

TOKYO, Dec. 5, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Korn/Ferry International (NYSE: KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, has continued its broader ongoing recruitment strategy by announcing the addition of Grace Nida to the Firm as Senior Client Partner and Managing Director, Global Luxury Sector.

Based in Tokyo, Ms. Nida will be a core member of the Firm's Global Consumer Market and lead the Consumer market in Japan.  She is regarded as one of the premier global recruiters in retail and luxury, and the dominant consumer recruiter in Japan. She also conducts C-level searches in the FMCG, private equity, and the media and entertainment space.

Ms. Nida joins Korn/Ferry from Heidrick & Struggles where she headed the Consumer Practice for Japan and co-led the Chief Marketing Officer practice for Asia Pacific.

Prior to executive search, Ms. Nida was vice-president at Fleishman-Hillard, an Omnicom group company and the world's leading communications consultancy, where she headed the International Practice for Japan. Before that, she was Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of a business-to-business company in Tokyo and San Francisco.

Ms. Nida started her career in government working as a specialist in international policy for the government of Korea. She holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Washington and a Master's degree from Yonsei University.
