GraficaGroup Earns Four SIAA Awards for PSE&G Advertising and Direct Mail Campaigns

CHESTER, N.J., Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- GraficaGroup, a full-service, integrated advertising and digital marketing agency based in Chester, N.J., and Public Service Electric & Gas (PSE&G) Company have been business partners for more than 10 years. The extensive client knowledge developed during that time helped GraficaGroup win four 2010 Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA) for various PSE&G advertising and direct mail campaigns.

Launched in 2003, the SIAA are the only advertising awards to specifically recognize advertising excellence from service industry providers. In developing and executing several 2009 campaigns to reach PSE&G customers, GraficaGroup earned Gold Awards for its Direct Mail Residential Whole House Efficiency Program, and for Single Entry/Collateral, "Other Collateral" Category; a Silver Award for Total Ad Campaign for PSE&G's WorryFree Value Campaign; and a Bronze Award for Total Ad Campaign for the WorryFree Heating Character Campaign.

Of the awards, the Gold Award, Single Entry/Collateral, "Other Collateral" Category, was for a series of brochures for PSE&G's Green Solutions Program aimed at helping residential and business customers reduce their carbon footprint. The brochures were customized for individual audiences, including residential, Spanish residential, small business, Spanish small business, government facilities, and non-profit facilities.

The second Gold Award for Direct Mail was for the PSE&G Residential Whole House Efficiency Program Direct Mail Letter Package, which included a teaser outer envelope, a letter with perf-off order card, a slim jim brochure, and a business return envelope.  

The Silver Award for Total Ad Campaign was for PSE&G's WorryFree Value Campaign, which was designed to raise awareness and reinforce the value of PSE&G WorryFree Appliance Protection Plans during these tough economic times. GraficaGroup utilized actual customer testimonials in a series of newspaper strip ads and online video banner ads, as well as created a new landing page for PSE&G's website.

Finally, the Bronze Award for Total Ad Campaign was for the WorryFree Heating Character Campaign, which saw GraficaGroup's creative design team develop a new illustrated "furnace character" to keep materials fresh for customers receiving monthly communications. The multimedia campaign included direct mail, bill inserts, emails, Web pages, online banner ads and newspaper print/strip ads.

The 7th Annual SIAA featured more than 1,400 entries from over 300 advertising agencies and 900 institutions. A national panel of judges reviewed, evaluated and rated every entry, in 27 categories, for execution, creativity, quality, consumer appeal and overall breakthrough advertising content.
